Time flies...
How time has flown. Its hard to believe that it will be the first day of March tomorrow and I have very little to show for the year so far. I have been busy making cards and with so many to make, there was little time for anything else for quite a while ...BUT I have things in the pipeline for this year.
I signed up for my first ever Boomerang Swap via Jenniebellie's art journal group and have been assigned a partner with whom I will work throughout the year. The idea of this swap is that we each made a journal book and then sent it, along with a letter, to our partner. We each then work in the book we were sent - doing as little or as much as we like to any of the pages - and then we swap back and do the same each month and this keeps going throughout the year until the book is filled....and in the process we get to know - and hopefully become friends with - our partner. The pic above is the journal I made for the Boomerang Swap and it is the one I will end up with when it is filled. At the moment there is nothing very interesting to show but hopefully as it develops I will be able to share some pics...and most definitely will share when it is completed.
In addition to the Boomerang Swap, I also signed up to do another year long Life Book course. So far I have been following the classes but have yet to make a start on any of the lessons...hopefully that will change soon and I will have something to post. As I did last time, I will post the good the bad and the downright ugly...it is a learning curve after all and its good to see where things go well and not so well and any progress along the way.
So that's it for now. Hopefully be back very soon
