Time flies...
Wow! Where has this year gone? I mean seriously, its July already and craft companies are selling new Christmas designs as they do... and although I have been making things, I have not posted here at all. Not good at all.
Pic above is one of the pages in a mini album I made for a swap in an online group. It was 15cm square and a bit of a challenge working so small...but that will be good practice because my Boomerang swap partner from last year and I decided we would do another swap and we opted for jumbo playing cards. Who knew jumbo playing cards was such a vague term and we had a couple of false starts in sourcing them, before we settled on an appropriate size that she already had in her supply collection.
We are starting with two cards which need to be decorated and sent in a few weeks. I am still in the thinking about it stage...but have so many ideas that its probably a good job there are 52 cards (plus Jokers) in a pack.
I am also signed up for a paper doll swap this month so will hopefully have something to share on that front soon. I must get better at posting things. I really wanted this to be a central point for projects but they won't upload themselves obviously!
Tomorrow I have what I really hope will be my last physio appointment for my shoulder ..but I injured it somehow this past week and its causing me problems so who knows what will happen when I see him tomorrow. I think its just going to need some rest...here's hoping.
Not art related, but on the really good news front, after almost four years on the transplant list my brother finally got a kidney and had his transplant at the beginning of June. We will be forever grateful to the donor and his family for this amazing gift and we think of them every day.
So thats me all up to date...
