Retro- Revolution Mini

Delighted to be part of a newly forming design team for Bee Happy Stationery and the delicious digital designs from Sandra Murrell.  This one is Retro-Revolution.

I decided with this kit I would make a small album and this one is approx 4x4 inches square. It is stitch bound using paper cord and has a magnetic closure. I covered the magnetic disc with a small punched piece of the backing paper from the kit

I chose a concertina type fold for the inside pages, with three full panels on one side and two on the other.  Both sides are decorated back and front. and I chose the pointing finger to be the first panel inside.
Tis opens out to reveal the other panels on that side of the album.

Some pages I left as they were and photos or bands, pockets could be added later on journaling could be done direct to the pages....and others I added tags and bands.

I  carefully cut the pages down to size and ink-edged each page with distress ink to further give it the aged look. The pages are so detailed it was easy to cut them  down and have something of interest still showing and even the "plain" pages have something.

I really liked that this is a small album and would easily fit in a pocket or small band and with ten panels (not counting the cover) it has plenty of room.

The concertina fold keeps everything nice and neat inside and the covers tie the whole thing together.

I only used part of the kit for this projects- there was so much more available within the kit for other or larger projects. Please do check out this versatile kit here

I hope you liked this little project. I had great fun making it.
Until next time
