Altered Jumbo Playing Cards - the Quote

  These are my two quote cards for this round of  the ongoing altered jumbo playing cards swap. The one on the left is a mix of collage and paint and the quote reads  If everything around you looks dark, look again... You may be the light!

The card on the right was made on a heavily textured background with a free hand drawing coloured using pencils.  The quote for this one reads  One of the most powerful influences in your life are the words that you say to yourself. 

They are very different but I like them both and wasn't in the least fazed when my partner made her choice...and she choose the one on the left. 

Carol's cards were all brilliant and I was really happy with the options. I did not get to choose the alphabet card (she chose my C card so I get her C card)  but I did get to choose from the two quotes she did and I will share my swaps when they arrive.
