Love is in the Air

This is a little sample journal I made for a design team project using a digital kit.
The kit has several background pages and lots of elements pages which include vintage portraits, postcards and lots of pretty tags as well as stamps and tickets. I didn't use it all in this make.
I printed double sided on prestige ultra smooth extra white wove 120gsm paper that I got on sale at Rymans and it feels lovely to the touch.

I used some of the larger tags to make flip up journal spots. I really like my journal writing to be hidden.... because my handwriting is akin to a drunken spider with cramp running across the page and is best kept out of view.
I made a pocket to slip tags in and added some of the postage stamps images to provide interest if the pocket is empty.
I die cut a few pockets to slip in some smaller items but to be honest the kit itself does most of the heavy lifting here...it is really pretty, with lots of detail and natural journaling spots.
This particular journal is ribbon bound so it is easy to slip pages in and out or change the order of them. I am currently working on another small project using the same kit and that will follow shortly.
If you are interested in getting the kit you can find here on ko-fi or here on Etsy
