Jumbo Playing cards

 Here are the latest jumbo playing cards for January and February 2025. 

The alphabet prompts this time round were G and H,  and I chose Graffiti and Hero as my themes. For the graffiti card I used old book pages, with a partial brick die cut element. I stamped the Banksy woman sweeping image and printed out the wording Graffiti as the title and "The writing is on the wall" as my tumbling words

 For the Hero card I started with a pale blue sky background with light clouds. I used scraps to make my buildings. I stamped the wording onto the sky and I stamped the caped boy onto a scrap of linen paper, coloured him and cut him out and then adhered him to the card, placing him on the buildings facing the words of inspiration. All the stamps used in these two cards were from Viva Las Vegas stamps.

For my quotes (below)  I chose two very different quotes and designs. I love them both. The brightly coloured quote really touched my soul and I loved the opportunity to go bold and brighter than usual.  This was offset by the neutrals of the other quote , which is perhaps a little more reflective. 

My swap partner has made her selection and opted for the Hero and the neutral quote cards. These will be on their way to her in the next few days and to keep our alphabets intact I will get her H card and I chose the quote card from the two she had made. We are only a short way in but we are building an interesting collection and I am really enjoying this process.
