Altered Jumbo playing cards K and L plus two quotes

These were my four jumbo playing cards for this round. We were on K and L this time and I chose keys/keyhole for my K and Love and Lace for the L

The K for keyhole card I covered the playing card with embossed key related cardstock and then drew the keyhole and cut it out. I put a sheet of acetate on the back and using the cut out piece as a template, I cut another piece of paper then covered the back too, leaving the keyhole as a see-through. element. I fussy cut an embossed key shape and adhered a mini metal key to that and put both on the top corner of the card. I really liked this one.

The L is for Love and Lace card , I started by  covering the card in lace doily patterned paper, I added an ink-edged paper doily, some cotton lace down one side and then added the bride and groom and the words "all you need is love". 

For my quote cards I opted for a laughter quote from Dr Seuss with a painted background and a cute laughing girl images and also for a Frido Kahlo quote about painted flowers. For this one I used a striped paper for the background, cut a frame and cut some flowers to add to form the painted flowers picture. 

It was my partners turn to choose which cards she would like, and she chose the Love and Lace and the Frida Kahlo painted flowers cards.
