#JunkJournalJulyUK - Day one Bees

 And we're off and this was my day one for the prompt Bees.  I made a flip up panel with a  gorgeous bee images and some added some stamping, distressed the edges (using a water brush and then tearing the damp paper) and some ink.  I added glossy accents to the eyes for extra dimension and drama (they really pop) 

Under the flip out is a panel of paper from the Hale Herbology digital kit from Bee Happy Stationery and I added a few more tiny stamped bees to tie the whole thing together. The base paper has space for journaling so I didn't add anything else...sometimes less is more 

And this was me for day one.
